Oregon GEAR UP believes that students are most successful in reaching their postsecondary goals when they attend “good fit” colleges and universities - and it starts with educators understanding the various options available to students. Therefore, we've partnered with The Oregon Alliance of Independent Colleges and Universities (The Alliance) to offer personalized campus visits for educators at Oregon's private, not-for-profit colleges which will include tours and information sessions about admissions and financial aid, as well as facilitated discussions with faculty and student services staff. GEAR UP will reimburse districts for mileage. Sign up by January 13.

Oregon schools may apply for matching funds up to $750/visit for school field trips to college campuses and college fairs. Funds may be used for transportation, substitutes for teachers attending the field trip, meals, or other expenses. Schools will be reimbursed after the visit. Funds are first-come, first-served, with priority given to GEAR UP Affiliate Schools. Learn more and apply by May 15.
