What is one of the best things about college?
Being able to meet new people from all over the world and making connections through them.

How has GEAR UP helped you?
It helped me understand the different post-high school plans there are available and what I needed to do to accomplish my future goals.

What are your future career plans?
I hope to have a career that allows me to travel a lot and learn about different businesses around the world.

What advice do you have for middle and high school students currently in the GEAR UP program?
Be open to trying new things and looking at different plans for after high school. If you find something you're passionate about, work hard for it. No goal is to big or impossible to achieve.

You were instrumental in the conception and creation of the Husky Den, a student-run frozen yogurt shop at Sweet Home High School. Can you tell us more about that experience?
It feels so awesome knowing I was a part of something that will hopefully be around for a while. Getting to be creative and think of a school business idea was really fun and I'm glad everything came through and succeeded!
