Critical Resources for First-Year College Students at Oregon Colleges & Universities

­Educators can support students' transition to college and encourage self-advocacy using this directory of on-campus student support services at Oregon colleges and universities. These on-campus resources are the ones identified by the colleges as those best equipped to help students address common barriers to success: financial (financial aid, finding a job, needing social services), academic (advising and tutoring), health (physical and mental), and social (adjusting to the college community or fitting in).

It's A Plan

A self-reflection tool for students participating in job shadows, as well as evaluations. Brought to you by Education Northwest and Oregon GEAR UP. Designed to be printed as a folded booklet on 8.5"x11" paper.

Middle School Parent Guide

A downloadable guide for parents of middle school students on the steps to take in 6th, 7th and 8th grades to prepare for college. Also available in Spanish. Designed to be printed as a folded booklet on 8.5"x11" paper.
