Need help creating a college-going culture at your school? Rural, low-income schools in Oregon can apply to participate in our two-year Affiliate Program.

Created in 2016 as a way to expand our reach, Affiliate schools use our 5 "R" model to improve their efforts around college and career readiness. Schools receive coaching and resources for data collection, evaluation, planning and implementation.

In addition, GEAR UP Affiliates are eligible for professional development for educators as well as events for students including summer programs and career nights.

We value having access to the resources and events as well as the networking with GEAR UP staff and other schools. -Hermiston High School

100% of Affiliate schools who completed an evaluation would recommend the program to other schools. "GEAR UP provides a wealth of information and resources for us as a small rural school. The staff are easy to work with and quick to respond to questions," said a staff member from Neah-Kah-Nie High School.

Learn more and apply today! Space is limited to 10 schools. Note: This will be the last opportunity to apply for the Affiliate Program during our current grant cycle.
