What/who was the biggest influence on your decision to go to college?
My family was my biggest influence in my decision to go to college. They supported me throughout high school and encouraged me to be my best and do my best. They are still supporting me even in college.
What is one of the best things about college?
College is fun and interesting and it requires motivation and determination but procrastination is not and shouldn't be an option.
What are your future career plans?
My future career plans are to advance to graduate school and study biomedical engineering then work for a non-profit organization in the engineering department.
What advice do you have for students currently in middle and high school GEAR UP programs?
Never take education for granted because it is the best thing students can get at this age. Have a goal and purpose for their lives and pursue that.
